This rather captures the season, doesn’t it?
This is a Paeonia officinalis, taken back in May of this year. We were in the midst of the pandemic but still hopeful that things would turn around, as long as we all quarantined for a few weeks.
We were wrong about that, but the flowers were lovely.
I took this photo back in June, when the husband and I were going on some very nice long walks. I’m not a great photographer, but it’s fun to noodle around. I think I’d like to practice some more.
According to some Google searching, this is a Lantana camara. It is a pretty species but a bit aggressive.
